Black-Pigmented Wood Oil

Guardian Black-Pigmented Wood Oil is used for oiling untreated wood where a black-coloured pigment is desired or for the care of already black-pigmented oiled wood (smoked oak coloured). The oil is based on the finest and purest oils, has a water-repellent effect and protects the wood from drying out.

Guide

Apply the oil with a soft, lint-free cloth or a soft sponge in an even, thin layer in the grain direction of the wood. It is recommended that entire surfaces are always treated. The oil has minimal evaporation and should therefore be used sparingly so that the wood can absorb the amount of oil applied. To avoid colour bleeding, remove any excess oil with a dry cloth after 4 hours. The final drying time is approximately 24 hours. Repeat the treatment if the wood does not appear saturated. It is a good idea to use Guardian Wood Cleaner before treating with Guardian Black-Pigmented Wood Oil. It is recommended to oil wooden furniture 3-4 times a year. Shake the product before use. Always test the product on a non-visible spot before use.
